Umbrella Lady
The area around Western and Wilshire has a large Korean population, and also my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, Pho 2000. I was introduced to Vietnamese cuisine by a Chinese lady with aristocratic leanings, who showed me the proper way to eat noodle soup. I now suspect she just made it up to show she wasn't Vietnamese, but I'll never change.
