This is the true story of the evil Lyn G.'s kidnapped Domokun monster.

When the evil Lyn G. arrived at work one day, she discovered the following note taped to her computer monitor.
the first ransom note for the kidnapped domokun monster

Some background on the case:
  • The Domokun monster is a brown cave-dwelling creature who likes to watch TV and eat seasoned beef with potatoes. He lives with a rabbit named Usajii and two bats named Shinobu and Morio in a cave.
  • The Domokun monster in question was purchased by the evil Lyn G. from an Urban Outfitters store.
  • The kidnapper - whose identity to this day remains unknown - left a fiendishly clever and well-thought out trail of i-Zone clues to the location of the Domokun monster, each photo leading to the location of another clue.
  • The evil Lyn G. got her name from her conduct during the kidnapping saga. She steadfastly refused to go looking for her monster, apparently believing a "no hostages" policy would discourage future kidnappings.
The kidnapper was apparently frustrated with her lack of initiative, and sent her a followup note:

When even this final threat went unheeded, the kidnapper eventually returned the Domokun monster unahrmed.
